Golden track in Islamic history - Kuramuhammad Haji Ramazanov

Eleven years ago, on July 26, 2007, as a result of the terrorist attack, the great contemporary scholar-theologian Alim Kuramuhammad-haji Ramazanov was martyred. According to the noble hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the death of a learned theologian is like the death of all mankind.
 
However, in the memory of Muslims, he will remain for long time. We ask readers to recite the surah "al-Fatiha" and share the reward to the souls of Kuramuhammad-hajji and Abdullah-hajji Ramazanov.
 
 

Remembering Quramuhammad Haji Ramazanov

On July 26, 2007, the Muslim ummah lost an outstanding personality, prominent scholar and theologian Quramuhammad Haji Ramazanov. He fell a martyr, returning from the mosque, reciting the Quran on his lips. Together with him his younger brother Abdullah Hajji, who always accompanied him, also returned to His Lord.

 

Biography of Muhammad-Tahir from Qarakh (1809-1882)

Muhammad-Tahir, the son of Khuchalav al-Tsulda al-Qarakhi, was born in the village of Tsulda of Qarakh society (now Charodinsky district) in 1809. Historians write that his real name was Mahamatilav, and Imam Shamil gave him the name of Muhammad-Tahir. Under this name, he became known not only in Russia but to the entire Muslim world.
 
 

More than 113 thousand manuscript pages digitized in Dagestan

One year has passed since Russia's tycoon Ziyavudin Magomedov's Peri Charitable Foundation began implementing manuscripts digitization project with the Dagestani Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, RIA Novosti news agency reports. 
 
To date, 493 manuscripts with a total of 113173 scanned sheets have already been digitized. All manuscripts are dust-free and cleaned.
 
 

Role of Dagestani women discussed in Makhachkala

A round table discussion "The Role of Dagestani women in modern society" took place at the National Library of the Republic of Dagestan named after Rasul Gamzatov in Makhachkala. The event was organized at the initiative of the Spiritual Administration of Dagestani Muslims, Dagestan regional public organization of muslim women "Muslimat" with the assistance of the Committee on Freedom of Conscience and interaction with religious organizations of Dagestani Republic.

«Mecca in silver: the symbolism of the Hajj in silver stamps of the Moscow mint» exhibition opened in Makhachkala. 
 
In 2013 in Russia with the use of the high-end technology the Moscow Mint of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation issued a collection of 40 replica stamps made of 999 fine silver and dedicated it to the Holy City of Mecca.
