A balanced diet - prescribed in the Quran

Source : Islamiclife.com / 08 Sep 2014

The Qur’an has not restricted itself in merely mentioning the permissible and impermissible foods but goes to the extent of giving useful tips regarding a balanced diet, a diet which contains most if not all the useful ingredients required for the growth, strengthening and repairing of the human body. These ingredients include animal protein, fat, calcium, iron, salts, etc. The most balanced diets consist of meat, fish, fresh milk, cheese and fruit. Both direct and indirect references have been made regarding the afore mentioned.

Reliance on Allah, as mentioned in this Prophetic statement, is referred to in Arabic as tawakkul. It literally means to place one’s affairs in the hands of another.

There is a name of Allah associated with this word: al-Wakīl (the Disposer of Affairs). The Qur’ān refers to Allah by this name fourteen times.

Everyone Will Be Resurrected in The Same State When They Die

Death is a very painful and emotional time, yet one that may be filled with hope and mercy. Muslims believe that death is a departure from the life of this world, but not the end of a person's existence. Rather, eternal life is to come, and we pray for God's mercy to be with the departed, in hopes that they may find peace and happiness in the life to come.

It is recommended for every believing man and woman to recite the Book of Allaah, the Noble Quran, often, with due contemplation and understanding. This may be done by using a copy of the Quran or from one's memory. Allaah - the Most High – Says (what means): "[This is] a blessed Book (the Quran) which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad, sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded." [Quran 38:29]

...And to Him shall we return

Source : Harun Yahya / 15 Aug 2014

Billions of people have lived on this earth since the time of the Prophets Adam, Moses, Abraham, Lot, Jonah, Joseph and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them all). They were both of deep faith and sincere devotion to Allah who obeyed their prophets with sincerity as well as proud and rebellious types, who followed their lower selves and refused to abide by the paths of the prophets.

How prayer benefits a believer’s soul

Source : Harun Yahya / 14 Aug 2014

Hundreds of thousands of people are born every day. They all start a new life with a magnificent creation of eyes, hands, ears, hearts, brains and all their other organs. Allah causes a person to grow in the mother’s womb from a tiny cell; nerves and veins soon cover the entire body. The heart starts beating, the liver and kidneys gradually form. The bones form in a most glorious manner. Allah expects just one thing from the person created with such great care through a combination of hundreds of thousands of details over the course of nine months: Sincerity.
