Shaykh Habib Ali al Jifri - In Regards to the Beard in Islam: Video

Habib 'Ali Zain al-'Abideen al-Jifri was born of a noble prophetic lineage. His great grandfathers include, 'Ali Zain Al-'Abideen, the son of Imam al-Hussein, the son of Imam 'Ali ibn Abi Talib and the Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with them), the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

The Prophet's (ﷺ) love for his Ummah : Video

When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bled due to his injuries, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would hold on to his blood saying,

“I fear that if a drop of my blood should fall upon the earth, God will envelop them with a punishment.”

He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said“O God guide my people, for verily they do not know”

Feed, greet and pray: The Prophetic peace formula

By Dr. Hazem Said & Maha Ezzeddine / 6 Sep 2013

Abdullah ibn Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived for the first time in Madinah, I went with everyone to see him. When I saw him, I knew his face was not that of a liar. The first words he said were, “O people, feed the hungry, spread Salam (greeting of peace), maintain your kin relationships, and pray at night while others are asleep. With this, you shall enter Heaven in peace.” (Al-Bukhari)

Tabarruk (Relics)

Source : Islamieducation.com / 31 Aug 2013

Tabarruk means blessed. In special terms, it means to obtain blessing from the pious. This is permissible, but there are some people who say to obtain blessing from the pious or their posessions is impermissible and the one who says it is permissible is leading the people into the way of shirk. We, the Ahl as-Sunna, say that tabarruk is proved from the Qur'an and Sunna and thus is permissible; to call it kufr and shirk is not acceptable.

Necessity of Loving Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)

Source : Ahlus-sunna.com / 31 Aug 2013

In these present times, some people due to their misunderstanding consider the immense love for our beloved Prophet (صلىاللهعليهوآلهوسلم)  equivalent to shirk. In spite of the fact that lovers of Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) consider him to be an "Abd (Slave) of Allah" and they have no intentions of comparing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Allah azza Wajjal (Naudhobillah), the comparison only comes due to ill thinking of opponents who look for ways just to accuse Muslims of Shirk and Kufr but what they forget is that their false takfir would return back upon themselves  rather than it being applicable on the accused.

Source : Qul.org.au / 2 Aug 2013

The month-long fast of the month of Ramadan is nearing end and the Eid day is a week away. Eid Al-Fitr is the most important festival in the Islamic calendar (Muslim holiday). The day does not mark any historical event or episode; but its existence provides the Muslim for an occasion to offer thanks to Allah for having given him the strength and the will to observe fast during Ramadan.
