1. ‘Taqwa’ is the most important thing to bring on your trip

If there is one thing you can bank on during your trip, it is that you will be tested, over and over. It doesn’t matter if you have a 5-star package and access to amenities that most others don’t, you cannot escape the tests that Allah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) will place before you.

Listen to your voice of conscience

Source : Harun Yahya / 10 Sep 2014

Before any decision we have to make, we hear a voice that shows us the way and directs us toward what is right. From the moment we wake up in the morning, wherever we may go and whatever we may do, this voice accompanies us.

Nobody else can hear it but that voice speaks to us of justice, moral virtue, humility, honesty and sincerity; in short everything that is good.

How prayer benefits a believer’s soul

Hundreds of thousands of people are born every day. They all start a new life with a magnificent creation of eyes, hands, ears, hearts, brains and all their other organs. Allah causes a person to grow in the mother’s womb from a tiny cell; nerves and veins soon cover the entire body. The heart starts beating, the liver and kidneys gradually form. The bones form in a most glorious manner. Allah expects just one thing from the person created with such great care through a combination of hundreds of thousands of details over the course of nine months: Sincerity.

Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power) is described in the Quran as: {better than a thousand months} (Al-Qadr 97: 3)

Any action done on this night such as reciting the Quran, remembering God, etc. is better than acting for one thousand months which do not contain the Night of Power.
