Visiting the Prophet's Grave

There are many hadiths narrated on the permissibility of traveling and singling out the grave of the Prophet (Peace and blessing sbe upon him) for visit:

• Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

Enjoining good and forbidding evil

Allaah, the Exalted, Says (what means): "Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma`roof (i.e., Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.'' [Quran 3:104]

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Dear brothers, we are discussing “Prophetic traits”.

Allah the Almighty said addressing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):

(And consult them in the affairs) [Aal-’Imran, 159]

Night journey and ascension of Prophet Muhammad

Source : Agencies / 26 May 2014

The Night Journey and the Ascension to heaven was not a miracle confined in time or limited with space and it was not an event that simply passed by because this miracle still stands as an eye witness with all its encompassing lessons and benefits. This miraculous event still serves as a flowing spring from which the Ummah benefits to solve their current problems through seeking the Prophetic guidance.

Although the miracle of the Night Journey falls in the realm of the unseen, God made it possible for the Prophet to witness it for real. Therefore, the unseen became visible and witnessed with the Prophet’s eyes. It was the kind of the unseen that his eyes saw, his mind realized and his heart absorbed to teach the whole creation that the Prophet reached the ultimate levels of faith and certitude.

Is there any relation between the green color and Prophet Muhammad?

Source : Dar-Alifta / 24 May 2014

Green color in primary texts [Qur'an and Sunnah]

The color green is a symbol of prosperity and good life. It is mentioned in the noble Qur`an as the color of garments and cushions of the people of Jannah [paradise].

Allah Almighty says,

Upon them will be green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade. [Al-Insan: 21]

The dealings of the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, with other religions can best be described in the verse of the Quran:

“To you be your religion, to me be mine.”

As Muslims we know that our faith will be incomplete without sincere love towards our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). How can we understand if our love sincere or not?

Our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told us about the signs of true love for him. One of them is to love the Prophet more than ourselves.
